We are a small team of travelers who got tired of the same crowded routes and identical travel advice.
That’s why we created YAITE — to help people find their own, quieter version of every destination.
It started with one simple question in 2022:
“Why do we always end up in the same places as everyone else?”
After too many trips spent waiting in lines, dodging selfie sticks, and feeling like we were just checking boxes, we decided to change the approach.
We began searching for the other side of famous places — the neighborhoods locals actually live in, the regions guidebooks barely mention, the moments when you feel like the only person there.
YAITE was born from those personal discoveries.
Real over famous
Calm over chaos
Depth over quantity
Feeling over seeing
a former city guide who knows how to disappear in his own hometown
a slow-travel writer who prefers trains and footpaths to planes
a photographer who chases light instead of landmarks
a couple who turned their long road trips into a way of life
Every article on YAITE is written for people like us:
those who want to travel thoughtfully,
who prefer silence to noise,
who would rather discover one small alley than photograph ten famous squares.
We don’t sell tours.
We don’t push itineraries you “must” follow.
We simply share the paths we love — the ones that feel personal, peaceful, and a little bit yours.
If that resonates with you…
welcome.
You’re exactly who we created this for.
